Movie Description:  

Simmba is an upcoming Indian film directed by Rohit Shetty and produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. It stars Ranveer Singh, Sara Ali Khan and Sonu Sood in its lead roles. The film is a Hindi remake of 2015 Telugu film Temper. The film is a spin-off from Singham, which follows Simmba, an antiheroic orphan-turned-cop from Shivgadh, the same town where DCP Bajirao Singhamwas raised. Contrary to Singham’s upstanding ideology, Simmba enjoys being a corrupt cop and takes full advantage of its lifestyle. His charismatic personality endears him to women and he gets close to them; however, when his loved ones are abused, he finds himself transformed and forced to choose a more righteous path.

The film will be distributed by Reliance Entertainment. Principal photography began in June, 2018. The film will release on 28 December 2018.
